Pita Breads with cold smoked beef
Pita breads cook with the Mypizza baking steel in just a minute! The recipe was created by Ranteita myöten taikinasa.
Tips
• Roll the pita breads flat to about a 13 cm diameter.
• Use coarse wheat flour for shaping and rolling the pita breads.
• Rotate the bread during baking to prevent burning.
Pita breads
• 2 dl warm water (+42 ̊C)
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1 packet dry yeast
• 1 dl whole grain flour
• 3½-4 dl wheat flour
• 1 tbsp syrup
• 2 tbsp oil
Method
1. Mix the dry ingredients together. Add oil, syrup and flour gradually to the water. Knead the dough for a while until it becomes elastic.
2. Divide the dough into 6 parts. Roll them into balls and flatten the balls.
3. Let the breads rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
4. Bake the breads in the oven. As soon as the rising stops, the bread is ready.
Fillings
• 1 pot of sour cream
• 1 packet of ranch dip powder
• cold smoked beef slices
• bell pepper
• salad
• cucumber
• red onion
• cheese
Filling
Mix the dip powder wit the sour cream. Place a large salad leaf inside the pita bread. Put sour cream on top of the salad and rest fillings however you like. And now, just enjoy!
